SOCIAL SCIENTIST

“Social science research is a collection of scientifically-based procedures that permit us to penetrate to a deeper understanding of how human beings perceive, behave, think and work. The empirical and statistical methods of social science allow us to ask questions of the world around us and discover processes and relationships that are not obvious to commonsense or knowable through simple observation. We can more easily understand trends and the articulated desires of individuals and groups as well as penetrate to the unconscious behaviors and unarticulated needs and desires of those we study.”
